Bria Zan Thompson

Bria’s love of dance began in her hometown of Haiku, Maui where she studied and performed Hula at the age of 5. She later studied Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Modern and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance at the University of Colorado.

After discovering her passion for teaching, Bria started her own traveling dance company in Coeur d'Alene. She has taught dance classes for Hutton Settlement Children's Home, local Preschool and Elementary schools, and has offered classes through the CDA Recreation Department over the years. She recently completed an Acro Certification Course though Acrobatic Arts and is excited to be offering Acro!

It has been Bria's dream to share the joy of dance to children and she is thrilled to have opened Lokahi Dance Studio in downtown Coeur d'Alene!
